Lucy Avsharyan, Global Benefits Manager at leading talent and entertainment firm United Talent Agency, shares why Maven has made all the difference in retaining and empowering working parents by filling key gaps in return-to-work support, inclusive benefits for any path to parenthood, and truly global coverage.
As Lucy shares, providing Maven to UTA’s employees has sparked a “global culture shift” for working parents—a major challenge in the entertainment industry.
Maven: Why did UTA bring Maven on board?
UTA: Working in entertainment, we found that we don’t really support parents and working parents, because the lifestyle of agents is having to go to so many concerts, shows, and movie production—so, we knew that there was a gap there. And, from my personal experience, I knew that, for expecting or new parents, just knowing that they have support from Maven would make them feel like this is a culture they want to be a part of.
