“Infertility affects one in eight couples worldwide, and it doesn’t matter what ethnicity, geographical region, or socioeconomic status someone is originating from…What I always tell people is that fertility is dynamic.” - Dr. Brian Levine
For National Infertility Awareness Week, leading Reproductive Endocrinologist Dr. Brian Levine, founding partner and practice director of CCRM New York, led an Ask Maven Anything live Q&A on navigating fertility in the face of COVID-19, and shared more on the basics on fertility.
“Given that the new normal is going to be a world with COVID-19 in it, we really need to start planning and start acting,” explained Dr. Brian Levine, Reproductive Endocrinologist, on how fertility experts are planning for resuming treatments and seeing patients in the near future. “And the planning is, how do you treat patients with an ongoing pandemic preventing transmission of disease to patients and to providers and staff? And how do you make sure that you’re doing the best practices for your patients?”
